Join the conversation as Lacey chats with a new friend, Buddy Huffaker, the Executive Director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation. They’ll be chatting about Aldo Leopold’s land ethic, made famous via his book A Sand County Almanac. This conversation is taking place in anticipation of a series of events in Ely in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the publication of the book, as well as the 60th anniversary of the establishing of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness via the Wilderness Act of 1964.
And, of course, this episode includes a round up of upcoming events in Ely, Minnesota. Special guest Ian Lah of the Northern Lakes Arts Association will join Brett in the studio to give us the round up, because – as you know – there’s always something to do in Ely!
